Narrative:
After the departure of our maintenance chief from the employ of XXX drilling, we learned of various maintenance discrepancies with 3 aircraft operated byxx drilling: 1) light transport model a, 2) light transport model B, and 3) small transport. During the short period of time after the departure of our maintenance chief, the 3 aircraft were operated on various flts west/O knowledge of these discrepancies until we realized on 2/thu/90, that these discrepancies existed. Since that time, the 3 aircraft have been grounded for maintenance, or have been inspected in such a fashion as to comply with the requirements of the current inspection program recommended by their respective manufacturers, and under which they have been maintained. No accident or incident is involved. We assume that the situation occurred through the lack of understanding or mistaken interpretation of the far's by our former chief of maintenance. Since he has already left our employment, we have not attempted to take actin insofar as he is concerned, but intend to institute a new logbook program in the future, which will, when coupled with an outside maintenance audit program, hopefully prevent the situation from recurring.

Narrative: AFTER THE DEP OF OUR MAINT CHIEF FROM THE EMPLOY OF XXX DRILLING, WE LEARNED OF VARIOUS MAINT DISCREPANCIES WITH 3 ACFT OPERATED BYXX DRILLING: 1) LTT MODEL A, 2) LTT MODEL B, AND 3) SMT.
