Narrative:

I was the flying pilot during the event. We were flying the ILS Z runway 36 approach to seqm. The autopilot (VNAV pth) engaged and we started the descent to 10500 feet after [passing] R-223. I did not have sufficient drag out which allowed the aircraft to accelerate to maintain descent rate. We would arrive high at qsv. After receiving a terrain message I disconnected the autopilot and adjusted the pitch attitude. The remainder of the approach was hand flown in day visual conditions.
