On approach; while attempting to extend the flaps; for a normal landing; the flap motors failed and the flaps were stuck at the flaps 9 position. We [advised ATC]; performed the appropriate check lists; and proceeded to land uneventfully. Flaps failed in the flaps 9 position.

Title: EMB145 Captain reorted flap failure at the flap 9 position. QRH procedures were complied with and a flap 9 landing ensued.
