Narrative:
On departure, lost communications. Tried all 3 radios but were unable to establish contact with any ground facility. Followed the lost communication procedure and proceeded to our destination. Got hold of approach control 7 mi from airport. Were sequenced in the pattern and landed west/O incident. Upon landing were asked to turn off radios because we were blocking the frequency. Called ATC on the phone and they said there was never any traffic conflict.
