Narrative:
This is the first report I have written involving an increasing problem with flying into den. Today; we were told twice we needed to be rerouted to denver on another arrival fix and STAR for traffic. They always come back when queried that it comes from the traffic management unit. Every time ATC gives these reroutes well into a flight [they] are 12-20 minutes over original plan and anywhere from 1100 pounds to 2000 pounds more burn for the flight. Every time; the new clearance has put us in a less than 45 minute fuel state at arrival. Every time after accepting the clearance and programming FMS; [we have to] advise ATC the new route puts [us] in a min fuel state where if returned to original flight route puts us landing with more than 45 minutes of fuel. ATC could solve this problem by either giving us a reroute early; like before departure with pre departure clearance so evaluation and additional fueling can take place or metering/slotting den like the new york airports.

Title: A320 Captain reported an increasing number of reroutes received from ATC enroute to DEN that resulted in fuel concerns.
Narrative: This is the first report I have written involving an increasing problem with flying into DEN. Every time ATC gives these reroutes well into a flight [they] are 12-20 minutes over original plan and anywhere from 1100 LBS to 2000 LBS more burn for the flight. ATC could solve this problem by either giving us a reroute early; like before departure with PDC so evaluation and additional fueling can take place or metering/slotting DEN like the New York airports.
