Narrative:
We were flying a VFR practice approach on the RNAV (GPS) Z runway 2 in VMC conditions. Multiple radio calls were made announcing our location and intent to full stop on runway 02. At approximately 1 mile on short final; a pick-up truck entered the runway from the south just past the intersection of runway 33/15. We immediately executed a wave off; made another radio announcement and turned left to enter a downwind for runway 33. Landing on 33 was uneventful.we went over and talked about the issue with the driver. They had not been using a radio at the time; though he had one by the time we confronted him. He apologized; but didn't seem to understand the gravity of the situation.
