Narrative:
I had just taken over the position about 10 minutes earlier. I recall the previous controller telling me about the A380 he had taxied (aircraft X). A while went by; when another A380 (aircraft Y) called for taxi. There is an airport restriction that does not allow for an A380 to be on taxiway east unless it is within 1500 feet of the approach end while another A380 is departing. I forgot the first A380 (aircraft X) was at the approach end; and I did not catch it in my scan. I gave instruction to aircraft Y to taxi to runway 24L via east. By the time aircraft Y was in the middle of the D10 intersection on east; aircraft X began takeoff roll. A380 must be east of D8 to perform this operation. I contribute this to not properly scanning on my part. Even though so much time had lapsed between operations an effective scan would have prevented this. Also there is a new section of taxiway; east of where the approach end use to be that I need to incorporate into my scan. After all these years looking in one spot for the approach end; I must retrain myself to scan further to the east.incorporate a more positive scan; especially in the vicinity of the new taxiways; and runway extension.

Title: A Controller allowed an A380 to taxi on a taxiway at the same time another A380 was departing the runway parallel to the taxiway. This simultaneous operation is not authorized at this airport.

A while went by; when another A380 (Aircraft Y) called for taxi. There is an airport restriction that does not allow for an A380 to be on taxiway E unless it is within 1500 feet of the approach end while another A380 is departing. I forgot the first A380 (Aircraft X) was at the approach end; and I did not catch it in my scan. I gave instruction to Aircraft Y to taxi to Runway 24L via E.
