Narrative:

This is report of an occurrence with no mishap. As first officer of the flight we departed jfk with a legal alternate of pvd. Fuel on board was 7200 pounds as listed on the weight and balance sheet, minimum required 5000. After departed, company informed us new alternate was now bdl 5 overcast 2 mi visibility. Approaching bos RVR fell below 1800 we were given vectors to hold. Close attention was paid to fuel burn as well as other possible alternates close to bos such as pvd. Approximately 2 hours into the flight and holding at bos the decision was made to go to the alternate. Pvd WX was hovering below minimums so an approach was never attempted and consideration to land there never delayed the flight to alternate. Company contact was maintained at all times. En route to jfk to alternate was changed to jfk. After contact with new york approach we were told to hold at hto with an efc which gave us approximately 25 mins in the hold. Close scrutiny of fuel was maintained and company contacted. As the crew we felt much more of a delay would result in a declaration of minimum fuel. Prior to release from the hold was given and an expectation to be vectored 70-80 mi south of islip for the approach to jfk was also given. Fuel computations once again were made and marginal amount fuel remained. The WX quickly began to deteriorate at jfk. At this time minimum fuel was declared. Lga was checked as a solid alternate with 5 overcast 1 1/2 mi visibility. Diversion to lga was made because an approach to jfk with a missed after delay vectors 70-80 mi south if islip was found to be too marginal. Arrival at lga was made with approximately 1600 pounds remaining.

Title: FLT CREW OF LTT COMMUTER JFK TO BOS WITH WX DOWN AT BOS RETURNED TO FIRST ALT PVD BELOW MINIMUMS, SECOND ALT BDL, BELOW MINIMUMS, PROCEEDED TOWARD JFK DIVERTED TO LGA WHEN FUEL BECAME CRITICAL. DECLARED MINIMUM FUEL.

Narrative: THIS IS RPT OF AN OCCURRENCE WITH NO MISHAP. AS F/O OF THE FLT WE DEPARTED JFK WITH A LEGAL ALTERNATE OF PVD. FUEL ON BOARD WAS 7200 LBS AS LISTED ON THE WT AND BALANCE SHEET, MINIMUM REQUIRED 5000. AFTER DEPARTED, COMPANY INFORMED US NEW ALTERNATE WAS NOW BDL 5 OVCST 2 MI VISIBILITY. APCHING BOS RVR FELL BELOW 1800 WE WERE GIVEN VECTORS TO HOLD. CLOSE ATTN WAS PAID TO FUEL BURN AS WELL AS OTHER POSSIBLE ALTERNATES CLOSE TO BOS SUCH AS PVD. APPROX 2 HRS INTO THE FLT AND HOLDING AT BOS THE DECISION WAS MADE TO GO TO THE ALTERNATE. PVD WX WAS HOVERING BELOW MINIMUMS SO AN APCH WAS NEVER ATTEMPTED AND CONSIDERATION TO LAND THERE NEVER DELAYED THE FLT TO ALTERNATE. COMPANY CONTACT WAS MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES. ENRTE TO JFK TO ALTERNATE WAS CHANGED TO JFK. AFTER CONTACT WITH NEW YORK APCH WE WERE TOLD TO HOLD AT HTO WITH AN EFC WHICH GAVE US APPROX 25 MINS IN THE HOLD. CLOSE SCRUTINY OF FUEL WAS MAINTAINED AND COMPANY CONTACTED. AS THE CREW WE FELT MUCH MORE OF A DELAY WOULD RESULT IN A DECLARATION OF MINIMUM FUEL. PRIOR TO RELEASE FROM THE HOLD WAS GIVEN AND AN EXPECTATION TO BE VECTORED 70-80 MI S OF ISLIP FOR THE APCH TO JFK WAS ALSO GIVEN. FUEL COMPUTATIONS ONCE AGAIN WERE MADE AND MARGINAL AMOUNT FUEL REMAINED. THE WX QUICKLY BEGAN TO DETERIORATE AT JFK. AT THIS TIME MINIMUM FUEL WAS DECLARED. LGA WAS CHKED AS A SOLID ALTERNATE WITH 5 OVCST 1 1/2 MI VIS. DIVERSION TO LGA WAS MADE BECAUSE AN APCH TO JFK WITH A MISSED AFTER DELAY VECTORS 70-80 MI S IF ISLIP WAS FOUND TO BE TOO MARGINAL. ARR AT LGA WAS MADE WITH APPROX 1600 LBS REMAINING.
