Narrative:
On downwind vectors with flaps 1 aircraft experienced a loss of the green hydraulic system. Performed all non-normal procedures and [advised ATC]. After manual gear extension on base leg for approach aircraft experienced a flaps fault. Performed all non-normal procedures and proceeded to land with trailing edge flaps 0. Upon landing tower advised smoke from left main gear. Upon inspection by airport rescue and fire fighting and company maintenance personnel aircraft was towed to the gate.mechanical failure.flight crew was using the hot mic interphone feature of the aircraft. This was a significant factor in allowing the crew to successfully communicate and handle the emergency.
