Narrative:

While following a-check job card for cleaning and servicing the pitot probe; you must first stand on an 8 foot ladder to access the left hand side east&east compartment; then attach a dry nitrogen cart to the disconnected pitot probe and blow 29 psi of nitrogen through the pitot for a minimum of 3 minutes!! Then reconnect the pitot probe!did I just read this right? I just filled this tiny confined space with nitrogen and now being instructed to climb in there.if I don't pass out and asphyxiate in the compartment I might just get lucky and pass out and fall of this eight foot ladder on a nice cushy concrete floor. Really? How did this procedure make it to the manual?
