Narrative:
Controller pilot data link communications (cpdlc) had revised clearance. [SID].hec.... Dispatch release had [SID].tnp and Seavu2 arrival lax; transition off tnp. We loaded exactly what was in our cpdlc clearance. Once enroute we were given a decent clearance by ATC to maintain FL240. After crossing hec; the aircraft turned left towards the next way point tnp. ATC immediately gave us right turn clearance 40 degrees to avoid military airspace. ATC questioned our route; which we replied was what we had received from cpldc. ATC then cleared us directly to gramm and the riivr 3 lax. Cpldc did not indicate riivr 3 arrival; and dispatch release did not indicate riivr 3. Landed lax without further incident.
