Narrative:
On approach into dca, we lowered the gear in preparation for landing. Upon lowering the gear, a loud noise was heard in the back of the plane and the hydraulic gauges were checked for any landing gear abnormalities. System a fluid quantity read 0 and company procedures were followed for the situation. The captain then decided to proceed to iad where we would have a longer runway. Crew and passenger were briefed on the possibility of an emergency evacuate/evacuation. A normal approach and landing was made to 1L, and an emergency evacuate/evacuation was not needed. The plane was brought to a stop and the passenger were deplaned.
