Narrative:
I was notified that at approximately xa:30; an aircraft reported a near-miss approximately 2 miles north of mmv at an unknown altitude. I learned that the other aircraft was conducting an IFR departure from mmv. The conditions in the area were VMC with clear skies and no clouds. I was flying one of several gliders in the area and only north of the field for a short period of my flight. During my entire flight; I was utilizing my altitude encoding transponder. My flight duration was 2 hours 45 minutes. I landed on runway 35 at xa:28. Prior to landing I was doing the following:xa:17 I crossed midfield at 3;500 MSL on a heading of approximately 023 degrees. My activities were broadcasted on mmv CTAF.xa:21 I encountered sink and committed to returning to mmv for landing. I did a left turn to a heading of 187 degrees at approximately 2;200 MSL near the northwest edge of the town of lafayette along highway 99w.the current traffic in the area; as heard on the mmv CTAF; was an aircraft performing an instrument approach to runway 22; an aircraft conducting pattern work at mmv (left downwind for runway 22 at that time); a glider in tow departing north from mmv; and an experimental aircraft approaching mmv overhead from the north. I maintained visual contact with the aircraft on the ILS runway 22 and the aircraft on the downwind.I flew my glider to the northeast of this traffic which I remained 'behind'. I crossed behind all known traffic to the northeast of mmv; crossing the centerline of runway 22 at xa:24. The experimental aircraft entered the left downwind for runway 22 behind me. Xa:28 I landed on runway 35 after an extended right base and final to give-way to the approaching tow plane.I have no recollection of a departing aircraft during this period of flight. I saw no conflicting traffic and I heard of no conflicting traffic on the CTAF north of the airport.furthermore; I heard no sounds of another aircraft from inside my glider. Throughout my flight; I repeatedly transmitted my location; altitude; and intentions on the CTAF; especially when any other aircraft were heard in the area.
