Narrative:

Originally cleared to depart las on the staav 6 RNAV SID; dispatch release amended to depart via the tralr 6 SID; loaded it into the FMC as the dispatch release. Then after several attempts to acquire our controller pilot data link communication (clpdc) we received it and it stated cleared as filed; but as one went to the next page it stated the amended route to the original staav 6 SID. Both the first officer (first officer) and I failed to catch this change and flew the tralr 6 SID. ATC questioned our departure upon contact with departure control.the differences between clpdc and pre-departure clearnace with some aircraft and locations having these procedures can be confusing. The terminology is inconsistent and can be interpreted different ways. Just contact ATC clearance delivery with any questions.
