Narrative:
Holding at che for clearance for approach to hayden airport. Briefed for runway 10 ILS and were cleared for the approach by ZDV. Left holding pattern for approach to runway 10. Electronic displays did not look right as we started outbnd. Requested clearance from ZDV to return to che and hold at 14000' in order to rechk approach plate and CRT display. Reclred out of holding for approach to runway 10. CRT and approach plates checked ok. Normal approach and landing. After arrival at gate agent told me a passenger saw another aircraft, possibly a business jet. He tried to locate the passenger but he had left. By not being able to talk to the passenger I don't now what phase of the flight, how close or even which side the sighting may have been on. During the approach we did not hear any traffic on unicom and company traffic advisories were clear.
