Narrative:
We were at our initial cruise altitude of FL320. Washington had given us direct to hvq VOR earlier which we had accepted. We switched to indy center and they gave us another clearance to go direct to. As the flying pilot I went to the legs page to find the waypoint. I selected KK48G in the legs page and asked the captain to confirm and selected the abeam points and executed. That was what I thought I had heard and the captain confirmed. We continued and then the next sector asked where we were cleared to? We responded and continued with no other communication. The following sector then told us to write down a number for a possible deviation. We landed and called the center. They said that they listened to the tapes and we responded with direct to KI48M (which is before KK48M) and selected KK48G. We said we could have done that but I personally think we were cleared to KK48G. That is what I think I heard.
