Narrative:
I departed and climbed to 3;500 ft MSL and continuously announced my position and intentions crossing over friday harbor airport (fhr) from northwest to southeast. I observed a baron depart runway 34 and make a right downwind departure climbing to 3;500 ft. At my 08:30 and 1.5nm; on a near parallel course; but converging; I asked 'baron over griffin bay; do you have the aircraft in sight at your 2:30 and about a mile?' to which [he] replied; 'affirmative.' after acknowledging having us in sight; [he] made a shallow right turn towards us that increased the rate of convergence and at approximately 500 ft horizontal separation; made a slight bunt to pass approximately 200 feet below us and 100-200 ft aft of us. Immediately before and after the pass; [he] was close enough to clearly read the registration number and I verified it with the flight following agency (whidbey island NAS approach control) that provided service to both of us subsequent to the event. In my estimation; [he] was operating 'so close to another aircraft as to create a collision hazard' and may have intentionally operated 'an aircraft in formation flight' without arrangement with me; which I could not and did not intend to do while 'carrying passengers for hire.'

Title: Air taxi pilot reported being passed at 3500 feet by a BE58 in VMC with only 200 feet of vertical separation.
Narrative: I departed and climbed to 3;500 ft MSL and continuously announced my position and intentions crossing over Friday Harbor Airport (FHR) from NW to SE.
