Narrative:
Female passenger complained to flight attendants of intense chest pain. Rated pain 7 on scale of 10 when asked by 2 registered nurses. Lead flight attendant was one of 2 nurses onboard. Blood pressure measured 180/120. Pulse was 50 and 'thread'. [Passenger] reported that she had a history of crohn's disease and also was 5 weeks pregnant.contacted dispatch and established [medical] radio contact. Doctor asked for nurses' recommendation after reviewing information. Both nurses agreed that a medical divert to closest suitable airport was best course of action. I relayed this to dispatch.decision was made to divert to [a nearby alternate] due to better weather conditions. [Another airport] was slightly closer; but weather was 400' ceiling and 2 1/2 nm visibility. [The other alternate] was VFR / clear and vis unlimited.landed 25 minutes after decision was made. Landing [and] taxi to gate uneventful. Paramedics waiting in jet bridge on arrival.
