Narrative:
Aircraft X was descending via the puffr runway 17L transition to apa through den tower's airspace. Den tower local 2 accepted the point out. Den local two then cleared aircraft Y for takeoff and didn't provide radar separation between aircraft X and aircraft Y. They didn't allow for the proper wake turbulence separation.we need to stop using the puffr runway 17L transition and creek one arrival through den tower airspace. If we do not cease using these arrivals I believe we may eventually have a catastrophic loss.
