Narrative:
I was on departing runway 29R at sck when on the takeoff call the door warning light illuminated, so we aborted the takeoff. I then taxied back to the gate where the rampers opened and reshut the rear cargo door. The light did not extinguish, so I climbed out of the aircraft and looked at the locking mechanisms visually. I then (after the light extinguished) taxied back for departure, where again on the takeoff roll the door light illuminated and so I aborted that takeoff. I then taxied back to the gate and called maintenance. They simply (over the phone) deferred the warning light and I departed sck with no further problems. I should have called maintenance after the first aborted takeoff, but since a door warning light is fairly common and the doors are very safe, I failed to realize the necessity of calling them after an aborted takeoff.

Title: COMMUTER SMT TKOF ABORT WHEN DOOR WARNING CAME ON. AFTER RETURN TO BLOCKS AND VISUAL INSPECTION BY CAPT ACFT AGAIN ABORT TKOF FOR SAME REASON. COMPANY MAINTENANCE THEN OK'D FLT WITH DOOR WARNING ON.
Narrative: I WAS ON DEPARTING RWY 29R AT SCK WHEN ON THE TKOF CALL THE DOOR WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED, SO WE ABORTED THE TKOF. I THEN TAXIED BACK TO THE GATE WHERE THE RAMPERS OPENED AND RESHUT THE REAR CARGO DOOR. THE LIGHT DID NOT EXTINGUISH, SO I CLBED OUT OF THE ACFT AND LOOKED AT THE LOCKING MECHANISMS VISUALLY. I THEN (AFTER THE LIGHT EXTINGUISHED) TAXIED BACK FOR DEP, WHERE AGAIN ON THE TKOF ROLL THE DOOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND SO I ABORTED THAT TKOF. I THEN TAXIED BACK TO THE GATE AND CALLED MAINT. THEY SIMPLY (OVER THE PHONE) DEFERRED THE WARNING LIGHT AND I DEPARTED SCK WITH NO FURTHER PROBS. I SHOULD HAVE CALLED MAINT AFTER THE FIRST ABORTED TKOF, BUT SINCE A DOOR WARNING LIGHT IS FAIRLY COMMON AND THE DOORS ARE VERY SAFE, I FAILED TO REALIZE THE NECESSITY OF CALLING THEM AFTER AN ABORTED TKOF.
