Title: Air carrier Dispatcher expressed concern that Dispatch should be apprised of all weather reports that the pilots receive in the cockpit; whether they are requests; ATIS or automatic reports sent to the aircraft.
Narrative: Dispatchers should have visibility to the weather the pilots are requesting and the automatic Sigmets that are delivered to the aircraft. This would much improve situational awareness [for dispatchers]. Have this info visible in ACARS.
