Narrative:

I was the relief pilot on this flight. I was called an hour into my rest period to come back to the flight deck. The decision had been made to return; due to the right engine oil pressure indication. When I returned to the flight deck; I was briefed on the situation and that the right engine oil pressure indicator was fluctuating between low 40's to low 50's. Left engine was steady at 70. Was informed that maintenance told us to return because of prior history on the right engine. Followed all protocol and procedures for diverting. Ran all the appropriate checklists; including jettisoning fuel and fuel balancing. The captain and the operating first officer did a great job managing the situation and running all the appropriate checklists in a timely manner. We landed under max landing weight and fuel was balanced within the limits. No emergency was declared and none was needed as we had no warning or caution indication on the flight deck. Engine was operating normally other than the low oil pressure indication. The return was simply precautionary and following maintenance request.
