Narrative:
PA-32R experienced brake fire during taxi. PIC detected dragging right brake while taxiing for takeoff. Stopped aircraft; shut down engine; exited aircraft; observed fire in right brake. PIC returned to aircraft; called for firefighting assistance. Airport personnel responded with fire extinguishers and extinguished fire. Fire department responded and further cooled right brake with water.aircraft had previously flown 30 minutes earlier with no indication of dragging or hot brake. Right brake may have become 'stuck' in engaged position during restart prior to taxi for second flight of the day.
