Narrative:
Ground roll was started, left main gear went off pavement. Takeoff was aborted. Left main and nose gear in soft dirt collapsed nose gear. Aircraft slid to a stop. Propellers hit ground, also. Narrow runway, low time PIC in type (reactions not quick enough to stop aircraft from rolling off pavement into dirt, wind was changing direction with small gusts. I was a non-instructing CFI in right seat for a pleasure flight, watching airspeed and surface pavement conditions since pavement was uneven and narrow. Possibly should have taken control of aircraft.

Title: ACFT VEERED OFF RWY DURING TKOF ROLL.
Narrative: GND ROLL WAS STARTED, LEFT MAIN GEAR WENT OFF PAVEMENT. TKOF WAS ABORTED. LEFT MAIN AND NOSE GEAR IN SOFT DIRT COLLAPSED NOSE GEAR. ACFT SLID TO A STOP. PROPS HIT GND, ALSO. NARROW RWY, LOW TIME PIC IN TYPE (REACTIONS NOT QUICK ENOUGH TO STOP ACFT FROM ROLLING OFF PAVEMENT INTO DIRT, WIND WAS CHANGING DIRECTION WITH SMALL GUSTS. I WAS A NON-INSTRUCTING CFI IN RIGHT SEAT FOR A PLEASURE FLT, WATCHING AIRSPD AND SURFACE PAVEMENT CONDITIONS SINCE PAVEMENT WAS UNEVEN AND NARROW. POSSIBLY SHOULD HAVE TAKEN CONTROL OF ACFT.
