Narrative:

I landed at phoenix sky harbor on runway 25L; while on short final tower asked me to land long and exit at hotel 3 instead of hotel 5 as was previously instructed. While slowing down I saw the sign for hotel 3 and started to turn; and saw what I thought was a taxiway lead off line; it was yellow and perpendicular to me. However I shortly realized I turned too soon off the runway into a paved non-movement area. I quickly taxied out of the area and onto taxiway hotel as instructed by the tower into parking. The tower had also asked me to taxi in with him.while I did not get a call from ATC nor did he mention my mistake I felt it prudent to share it. I failed to properly identify the taxiway lead off line; but thankfully my mistake did not cause any damage to the aircraft or the airport property. I was also carrying about 20 pounds of dry ice; and I think that maybe had made me mildly hypoxic; with it being night; and my lack of experience operating out phoenix sky harbor at night caused my lack in judgment. I learned that I should have put the dry ice into a cargo pod and put it separate from the cabin; and that I should have not talked to the tower while landing. I should have completed my landing rollout before accepting a change in taxi instructions from the tower; and just have been more cautious overall when operating out of a new airport.
