Narrative:
For the past week area east has been operating under extremely short staffing, which has forced controllers to work over 2 hours on position and in some cases over 3 hours on position, and in one instance over 4 hours on position. Because of the short staffing and long hours on positions, a safety hazard is existing -- due to controller fatigue.

Title: CTLR REPORTER COMPLAINS ABOUT WORKING POSITIONS MORE THAN 2 HOURS WITHOUT SWAPPING POSITIONS OR TAKING A BREAK.
Narrative: FOR THE PAST WEEK AREA E HAS BEEN OPERATING UNDER EXTREMELY SHORT STAFFING, WHICH HAS FORCED CTLRS TO WORK OVER 2 HRS ON POSITION AND IN SOME CASES OVER 3 HRS ON POSITION, AND IN ONE INSTANCE OVER 4 HRS ON POSITION. BECAUSE OF THE SHORT STAFFING AND LONG HRS ON POSITIONS, A SAFETY HAZARD IS EXISTING -- DUE TO CTLR FATIGUE.
