Narrative:
Our aircraft had a history of TR2 (transformer rectifier) failures. On downwind we had an electrical failure. I lost my primary flight display; navigation display; mcdu and the lower ECAM. I transferred control of the plane to the captain and started working the ECAM and handling ATC. We turned base for the visual to runway xx and continued to assess the problems with the plane. We ran the multiple ecams but were not able to restore electrical power. Upon turning final; we realized we were unstable and elected to go around. Normal missed approach and we got vectors back around and had a normal landing on runway xx. The APU was started in flight to provide electrical backup. After landing we realized there were other problems with the plane - no landing lights; no cabin lights and first officer electric seat controls inop. We got flashlights and assisted the passengers with gathering their things and getting off the plane.

Title: A319 flight crew experienced electrical anomalies during approach that they believed originated with a Transformer Rectifier fault. Electrical relays were heard clicking and the First Officer lost her displays. Turning off the number two generator had no positive effect. After landing it was discovered that exterior lights and cabin lights were all inoperative.
