Narrative:
I was on break in the bunk area when we encountered severe turbulence. I was 'bounced' off the bunk 2 times while the aircraft gyrated through multiple parameters (read 3 axis) of movement. The duration seemed to last about 1-2 minutes. I did hear a loud crash/glass breakage from the first class galley during this time.on return after the break was over I learned that a flight attendant had injured her arm during the event. Several items were conveyed to me but I do not have first hand knowledge/observations of them.one item of note: medlink was contacted and the 'advice' from them for the injured flight attendant was for her to proceed to the hotel after termination of the flight and a doctor would contact/see her there. On the bus to the airport for the return flight I learned that a doctor never contacted/saw her nor was she ever contacted by medlink or the company to follow up on her injuries. Not a good feeling as to their credibility in the event I ever have need to use their services!!!
