Narrative:
My PIC and I entered our aircraft and began our prestart procedures. We started the aircraft and then our passenger advised us of his concerns about our time en route. Once we verified that he still would like to do the trip I proceeded to call for our IFR clearance. Once we got our clearance I entered the flight plan information into our GPS and asked the PIC to verify it was correct. He said it was. I then asked if he was ready to taxi and he said he was. I looked down at my kneepad to verify the ATIS information and the PIC started moving the aircraft out into the main aisle of the non-movement area. I looked up and prepared to call ground for our taxi clearance when we experienced a collision with an object. We shut down and secured the aircraft. Once we got out to inspect the aircraft we found that our left wing had collided with the right nose section of an aircraft parked next to us as a result of a tight left turn performed by our aircraft.
