Narrative:
In the process of starting #2 engine, I was notified that fire and smoke was coming from the #2 engine. I then taxied clear of the taxiway into the run-up area. I communicated with the tower to send fire fighting equipment. After a brief period I made a decision to evacuate the passenger out of the main cabin door. After following standard operating procedure and completing appropriate checklists, the first officer and I deplaned the aircraft.
