Narrative:
During a night x-country training flight the aircraft entered the greer arsa. The reason for the occurrence was improper airport identification. When the error was discovered an immediate exit was made from the arsa. The aircraft was observed by an airline pilot on the approach to greenville-spartanburg and reported to greer tower. A phone call was made to ATC and the incident was discussed.

Title: ARSA PENETRATION BY SMA ON CROSS COUNTRY TRAINING FLT.
Narrative: DURING A NIGHT X-COUNTRY TRAINING FLT THE ACFT ENTERED THE GREER ARSA. THE REASON FOR THE OCCURRENCE WAS IMPROPER ARPT IDENTIFICATION. WHEN THE ERROR WAS DISCOVERED AN IMMEDIATE EXIT WAS MADE FROM THE ARSA. THE ACFT WAS OBSERVED BY AN AIRLINE PLT ON THE APCH TO GREENVILLE-SPARTANBURG AND REPORTED TO GREER TWR. A PHONE CALL WAS MADE TO ATC AND THE INCIDENT WAS DISCUSSED.
