Narrative:

The latest ATIS reported light snow; mist and two miles visibility. Other airplanes were taxiing on the airport and taking off. We landed on runway 34. After touching down and stowing the thrust reversers; I noticed that the braking action was poor to 'nil'. We had enough braking action to slow the airplane down to a very slow taxiing speed and make the right turn off onto [a] taxiway. Once on [the] taxiway; knowing that we would have to make another sharp turn onto [another] taxiway; I applied the brakes as cautiously as I could; but the wheels locked up and the plane spun 90 degrees to the left and stopped on [the] taxiway. That is when we realized that the taxiway braking action was nil. We decided to put the parking brake on and contact ops and company to let them know that we could not taxi the airplane safely and needed to be towed to the terminal. We then accomplished the 'shutdown' checklist. We waited for the tow team and arrived safely at the gate.
