Narrative:
We landed and exited [the runway]. We gave a braking report as fair. When taxiing into the ramp area on [the] taxiway; the airplane started skidding as we initiated a slow turn. We continued very slowly into the ramp area where the plane once again started skidding even with full brakes applied. We used thrust reversers to hold our position until we could contact the FBO to come out and chock us. ATC was informed that we stopped on an active taxiway. No other aircraft were affected in the incident.the conditions were changing rapidly with freezing rain on the airfield. Due to the time of day; there were very few aircraft moving. As such; we had little to no information regarding the taxiways. Once it was determined we could no longer proceed on our own; we stopped and called for assistance. Once the plane started skidding with full brakes applied; we used thrust reversers to hold our position static.this event would [have] surely been avoided with more input from other aircraft and vehicles.
