Narrative:
The L1 door was closed properly by agent as per SOP and [it] looked [like] the door was closed and seemed to lock properly. The aircraft was dispatched and on takeoff the door partially opened and there was a need to air return due to heavy noise and air coming into the cabin from outside. When the aircraft returned and was on gate; tech ops met aircraft and discovered the door not flush.
