Anomaly | Deviation - Procedural Clearance Ground Incursion Runway |
Narrative:
Landed on runway 28R at myf. Departed the runway at taxiway F which is located at the end of the runway. I was instructed to hold short of runway 28L while taxiing on F. I stopped at taxiway H and asked for directions for the runway. I was told of a possible pilot deviation at that time. I missed the hold line for 28L because the runway was not labelled (28L). The only signage for runways on taxiway F is for 10. I was unfamiliar with the airport. The mistake was inadvertent because of the unfamiliarity and signage. I would suggest that the signage be changed of taxiway F to say 10R-28L to help reduce confusion and clearly mark the runways. I will be more vigilant in the future.
Original NASA ASRS Text
