Narrative:
Aircraft X was on final for 24R. Due to winds aircraft Y needed a 07R departure off the south complex. Aircraft Y on departure was a right turn away from aircraft on my final. I cleared aircraft X to land on 24R. I thought that since he wasn't departing on my complex that it was not considered opposition direction departure and we will provide visual out the window. We coordinated with approach letting them know that we will have visual with all aircraft. I did not issue traffic to aircraft X about aircraft Y.we do an over the ocean procedure where aircraft land 06R and we depart 25R and turn aircraft to a 210 heading and we are providing visual out the window. It is the same scenario we do over ocean and I thought I was covered with providing visual out the window.I would like to know what is the difference between our over ocean procedure and what happened that day with aircraft X.
