Narrative:
A local flight from troutdale airport to pearson airport. It was a trip to pick up customer's part for his aircraft. I called to see if it was fixed--it was! I asked how the WX was. He said it was good. I went around pdx's arsa and went into pearson through the cutout in the arsa and landed. A person on the ground said pdx would like to talk to me, and gave me pdx's #. I called pdx and they said I operated in their airspace, and that pdx was IFR. I said I did not know that!I told pdx that pearson had no ceiling and at least 15 mi visibility, and that the flight was made in VFR conditions at all times. Pdx took my name, address, and phone #. Cause of this problem was not checking pdx's WX at the time of flight.
