Narrative:
All preflight and taxi checks revealed no abnormalities prior to taking the runway. Upon takeoff clearance; I advanced the power levers. After 3-4 seconds both left and right gen fail annunciator lights illuminated. I immediately pulled power to ground idle and notified tower of the aborted takeoff. Upon exiting the runway I was given permission to hold position and troubleshoot. When I was unable to get the left generator to re-engage I asked tower to return to parking.
