Narrative:
We taxied out to the runway and took an hour delay for weather. Once we were cleared to go; we taxied out for takeoff. On takeoff roll the #1 engine oil pressure warning light illuminated. The first officer called for the rejected takeoff and I rejected the takeoff. The first officer noted the speed at 90 KTS. Once the power was reduced the warning light went out and I shut down the number one engine once we were clear of the runway. We returned to the gate and called dispatch and maintenance control to inform them of the situation. Contract maintenance was called. The mechanic added four quarts of oil to the engine and checked and cleaned cannon plugs. We did a runup of the engine and everything was normal. It was signed off and we operated the flight.
