Narrative:
I just landed on runway 36 and was told by denton tower to turn right at A3 so I added power to speed up because A3 was far away then I was told by denton tower to turn right at A5 which was directly to my right so I attempted to brake and make the turn but I was going too fast and rolled off the runway and taxiway and collided with the A5 taxiway sign. I then shut down and the aircraft was taken back to the ramp by a tug. The plane had no damage but the sign was.
