Narrative:
The captain gave us the ding for landing at ecp. When I heard the ding I made the landing announcement then cleaned up the galley. I went into the cabin to collect trash and do compliance checks. While doing trash I peered outside to see how close we were to landing. When I looked out the window there we no lights to indicate how far we were from the ground. When I returned back to the galley I put the garbage and the recyclables into their bins and closed and locked them. I made sure the galley was secure and went to my jump seat. When I got to my jump seat we landed. I sat down and buckled my seatbelt. When we were all in the shuttle the captain had asked if any of us were hurt. We all stated 'no'. The captain said that he had thought that control was going to send us around to the other side but they went ahead and cleared us for landing quicker that he had thought. I stated that there were no lights at all indicating we were close to the ground. The captain stated that there is no development around the airport.flight attendants need to know that there will be no lights surrounding this airport upon landing and not to use this as a guide.
