Narrative:
While taxing; aircraft engine sputtered and shutdown. I contacted ground on and informed them we were stuck in the middle of the taxiway and advised we would attempt restart and if successful request amended clearance from. ATC advised us to advise them. After conducting successful hot start we taxied with clearance from ground back to ramp and contacted ops and asked for maintenance to come out to aircraft. Maintenance arrived and advised writing up aircraft due to prior similar incident.
