Narrative:
On takeoff while rolling down runway at 100 knots; first officer said he needed to reset flaps to 5. As I hesitated to process the information since we were in the high speed regime; the first officer reset the flaps to 5 from flaps 1. We accelerated to takeoff speed in plenty of time as the flaps tracked to the correct setting. Plenty of runway left as we rotated at normal speed.
