Narrative:
On the day 4/tues/90, me and spi were to practice lndgs after pretaxi checklist. Everything was in order. We requested touch and go's. Ground assigned us like they always do; we taxied to the runway, performed the runup and then were clear to takeoff for touch and go's. When we went for the 4TH pattern, did checklist mid-field downwind. Prelndg checklist landing light on. Fuel pump on. Mix rich. Propeller 2500 RPM. Check fullest tank on. Flaps 15 degrees, gear down and showing 3 greens. We were turning base to perform a short field landing. I assumed radio contact lost with tower. At this time, we were the only airplane in the pattern. Turned the second radio, talked, and no reply. On final at 10' last check: mixture full, propeller, 3 greens and full flaps (71 KTS) then couple of seconds later, T/D on runway and full stop on the centerline. No injuries.
