Narrative:
Departed myf under tower control on runway 28L. Prior to departure; I asked the tower to request flight following for me. Two minutes into climb out the tower passed me over to socal approach. Socal approach immediately indicated I was in class B violation. Why did the tower let me fly into the class B airspace without clearance?
