Narrative:

On take-off at ZZZ; we experienced a loud 'bang;' yaw and shudder at around 110-130 knots. This was followed by an 'eng 2 fail' on ECAM. My captain executed a high speed reject. I notified the tower and they rolled the emergency equipment. He notified the passengers to remain seated. After inspection by the fire department; we taxied back to the gate on one engine. I am only guessing; but apparently a stall on the #2 engine caused its failure on take-off. However; at the time it happened; we were both convinced we had blown one or more tires. Then the engine fail ECAM came up and we started to put it together. There was no way to avoid this event. The captain executed a perfect high speed reject. The aircraft remained on the runway centerline and he notified the passengers immediately.
