Narrative:

Before leaving home base, I checked the commercial approach plates for bdl. I had sids, stars and 11-1 chart (ILS 6 approach and airport diagram). At bdl arrival we listened to ATIS. The ATIS said that bdl was using ILS 24. Checking again the commercial approach plates there was no ILS 24 to be found. So after checking on with the first approach controller, I told the controller that we did not have the approach plate and what was the inbound heading and ILS frequency. We were told to stand by. Approximately 1-2 mins went by and the controller came back that the frequency was 111.1. We were later turned over to another approach controller, vectored to the ILS, intercepted the G/south, broke out into VFR conditions, continued to the airport and landed west/O incident. Our company has 9 aircraft and 1 pilot is assigned to each aircraft to do revision of commercial approach plates. I am not responsible for the commercial revisions of the aircraft I was flying. It is hard to catch an error in chart revision when there is a checklist once a yr.

Title: CORP SMT JET CONDUCTS ILS TO RWY 24 AT BDL WITHOUT THE APCH CHART ON BOARD.

Narrative: BEFORE LEAVING HOME BASE, I CHKED THE COMMERCIAL APCH PLATES FOR BDL. I HAD SIDS, STARS AND 11-1 CHART (ILS 6 APCH AND ARPT DIAGRAM). AT BDL ARR WE LISTENED TO ATIS. THE ATIS SAID THAT BDL WAS USING ILS 24. CHKING AGAIN THE COMMERCIAL APCH PLATES THERE WAS NO ILS 24 TO BE FOUND. SO AFTER CHKING ON WITH THE FIRST APCH CTLR, I TOLD THE CTLR THAT WE DID NOT HAVE THE APCH PLATE AND WHAT WAS THE INBND HDG AND ILS FREQ. WE WERE TOLD TO STAND BY. APPROX 1-2 MINS WENT BY AND THE CTLR CAME BACK THAT THE FREQ WAS 111.1. WE WERE LATER TURNED OVER TO ANOTHER APCH CTLR, VECTORED TO THE ILS, INTERCEPTED THE G/S, BROKE OUT INTO VFR CONDITIONS, CONTINUED TO THE ARPT AND LANDED W/O INCIDENT. OUR COMPANY HAS 9 ACFT AND 1 PLT IS ASSIGNED TO EACH ACFT TO DO REVISION OF COMMERCIAL APCH PLATES. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COMMERCIAL REVISIONS OF THE ACFT I WAS FLYING. IT IS HARD TO CATCH AN ERROR IN CHART REVISION WHEN THERE IS A CHKLIST ONCE A YR.
