Narrative:
While working ground control; FD; clearance delivery; and controller in charge combined; aircraft Z had landed Rwy36L which we were on a north flow. Upon our communication aircraft Z was taxied to park but seconds later the aircraft keyed up and asked if the tower knew that those two airplanes were lined up for the same runway. I keyed up and said 'affirmative'. I then asked the local control what happened and he replied; 'I sent him around'. Not sure what led up to the event because it was a pretty routine day and nothing difficult at all with the traffic.better scanning and planning.
