Narrative:
First flight after annual inspection. Found radio intercom/audio amp inoperative. Could not transmit or hear with with headset. Speaker system worked ok, so we decided to taxi for takeoff at this uncontrolled field, we heard a plane call for taxi to runway 15. We were at the runup area for runway 9 and had that aircraft in sight, taxiing. After completing a runup and system check, we (2 pilots) checked the pattern visually and rechked the taxiing aircraft in runup area for 15. I consciously studied the approach end of 15 for traffic and saw none. (The trees must have obscured the single engine small aircraft). We started our takeoff roll, carefully monitoring the engines. At liftoff I noticed an aircraft on runway 15 and thought, 'he must have just landed.' we were airborne at about 50' when I noticed the single engine small aircraft lift off! My only possible action was to continue a climb at best angle, straight ahead. At no time did I feel a collision imminent and as long a both aircraft continued straight we would pass close but safely. The trees between runway 15 approach end and runway 9 approach end should be cut to allow positive visibility sighting of aircraft on each runway in position.

Title: PLT OF SMT HAD NMAC WITH PLT OF SMT IN SIMULTANEOUS TKOFS INTERSECTING RWYS AT LNA. TREES PARTIALLY OBSCURE ENDS OF THE TWO RWYS.
Narrative: FIRST FLT AFTER ANNUAL INSPECTION. FOUND RADIO INTERCOM/AUDIO AMP INOP. COULD NOT XMIT OR HEAR WITH WITH HEADSET. THE TREES BTWN RWY 15 APCH END AND RWY 9 APCH END SHOULD BE CUT TO ALLOW POSITIVE VIS SIGHTING OF ACFT ON EACH RWY IN POS.
