Narrative:
During landing rollout; nose wheel began to shake violently. While braking to turn off on assigned taxiway the nose gear collapsed. The aircraft came to a stop on the runway. The instructor communicated the nose gear fault to tower who visually confirmed it. Both student and instructor exited the aircraft while leaving the avionics on to maintain communication with tower. They stood by the aircraft while a tractor came to tow the aircraft back to the hangar under tower's authority.
